Thanks to all that responded to my query.
Per the manual, "Unlike SSB modes, DATA A disables compression and RX/TX EQ. Upper sideband is the default." There is no mention of the change to the filter bandwidth to 500Hz default. I was trying to use Pactor 3 at 2400Hz and Winmor at 1600Hz. One thing I haven't been able to figure out is that in DATA A mode - going to the menu and MIC BIAS - it shows N/A does this mean that it is OFF in DATA A mode or is it the same as in USB mode (ON in my case)? 73, Keith, N4KDJ ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
