Hooked mine up to my Butternut HF2V vertical and got on 80 early Sunday
morning. Ran it at 5 watts on internal 2.5 amp hour NiMH batteries. Made 25
contacts for 19 sections in just over an hour with it and the battery voltage
only dropped from 10.2 to 9.6 indicated. Not a serious contest
I noticed that too..seemed like there were almost as many Q
stations as there were A stations; and some loud ones at that. :)
