I used an iPhone earbud during the ARRL VHF contest. I used the MH3 microphone for SSB and the combination worked fine. After my wife Peri, KI6SLX brought my CM-500, I was even happier due to the better isolation from that set of headphones. (We had 3 stations in one tent.) 73 Bill AE6JV On
