I can't speak of CODAR operation specifically, BUT the Seasonde operation
by the University of Oregon does -not- operate in the amateur bands. Our RV
was parked within a hundred feet of the equipment for months at a time. My
IC-756PII on 20M -did- suffer a bit from overload by the 12 MH
