In the CQ WW 160 SSB my friend Chuck, W5PR and I were both operating the
contest. Chuck has a very good antenna system and near max legal power. His
signal runs about 50 over S9 at my QTH. I endeavored to see how close to

I didn't forget Hector, I don't know. I don't think it is a K3 and I am sure
his amplifier is not an Elecraft.
How sure are you? The amp (or amps?) that Eric used to demo at
hamfests must be somewhere. Who knows? Maybe the KPA-500, if there is
such a thing, is in a (secret) field test ...
