Well, these are always problems. 1) To avoid the guy 2.5KHz away, cut the high frequency cut off down low. I frequently operate it at 2.05 or 2.15 KHz. I keep the low frequency cutoff much more constant at .25 to .36 KHz. This procedure will keep most of the interfering signal out of the audi

Don, Actually the answer to #1 is not difficult at all - use Hi Cut and Lo Cut when operating SSB. The Width and Shift are best left for CW and digital modes. Hi Cut and Lo Cut automatically change the center frequency. Attempting to use Shift and Width in SSB can be a matter of frustratio
