The DVR records audio before it is "processed" and during playback it i
sinjected at essentially the same place in the audio path so subsequent
processing will be applied.

I still have a Vomax Speech Processor I bought new and it was always
stellar. It is a split band processor.

Dear Lyle and Co,
I hope you do not object to what my asking a question to which I should
perhaps know the answer but do not. Just now my K3 is awaiting the DSP mod
board which I want to install prior to the second RX and ATU so another rig is
being used while the K3 sits on the blocks.

BUT -- the speech processing in the K3 is VERY good and VERY
flexible, so it's hard to imagine anything you could add outboard
that could improve
