When i am trying to work DX, i will stop and sling the drag wire around and
point it
at the DX station to decrease my antenna loss.
The single drag wire counterpoise is directive.

It should be great... i will have my KX1 along too...
i have my whip attached to a thin board, (a free paint stirrer from H. Depot).
The thin board goes in my rear pocket and i usually wear a vest and the
antenna
