[Elecraft] SMTR MD on KX3?

Hi, Is there a chance the SMTR MD menu item on the KX3 will eventually be implemented? I'd like it to be able to measure the background RF noise at my (dense urban) QTH without having to turn the preamp off or subtract that 20 dB out. Thanks, Julie ___
