Yes, but with a 1.8 kHz filter, the adjacent QRM goes away as well. One can't have good quality from a wide bandwidth if the adjacent station is splattering over into your receiver bandwidth. Something has got to give.   After all, it is communications quality audio.   Narrow the bandwidth to
