Some interesting observations on diversity receive with the K3 and it's
2nd receiver, how to set the 2nd receiver filters to track the main
receiver filter settings, S-meter settings/calibrati
Damn - even after your reminder, I forgot - and it sounds like it was
a fruitful net :-(

I had a brief listen this morning but those signals on at that time were way
down in strength and not really copyable through local linetimebase noise. I

Yes, conditions were poor, I could only hear a few of the stations on and as
my noise level is very high it was not great fun. I called in but doubt
anyone other than Dave heard me.
With skip I expected the Northern signals to be stronger than those closer,
but it did not appear to be the case t

When I get my K3 fixed I'll try and be on the net, work permitting,
would be nice to chat and share "K3 experiences"
Would be a real challenge to work the USA net... would like to do that
too :-)

High noise level (57) stopped play for me. Could just hear Dave at the start,
then started to drop off rapidly within the space of half an hour. Over the
last couple of weeks earlier has been better for me. Using 80m doublet @30ft
