Easier to read because the K3 does not add an extra layer of obscuring mush from intermodulation products, as does, for instance, my FT1000MP. BUT it now makes it possible to hear previously unknown unavoidable effects of many signals right at the noise. Sometimes things are more peaceful if you

I am new to the K3 (about two weeks now) and it is such a sensitive and selective rig compared to my FT950 that I am constantly adjusting volume because DX comes in at levels I would not hear with the 950 especially since i can adjust NB and DSP so much more effectively, and then I get blasted
