We all need to say in which manual something is or is not found. I was searching (with Adobe) "K2 manual rev E.pdf", Don references, and you were building using, "K2 manual rev F.pdf". The great thing about these manuals online is that they are vector rather than graphic so the search works even on schematics and placement diagrams!
Dan / WG4S / K2 #2456 ps: To find R22 on the CB placement diagram, you must search for D3! The silk-screened label is on the board AND diagram, but the side-tone is far nicer sounding with D3 gone and R22 (plus a couple other parts) there. -----Original Message----- From: W3FPR - Don Wilhelm [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, November 13, 2004 6:20 PM To: Dan Barker; Elecraft Subject: Re: [Elecraft] K2 Control Board Dan, Don't throw that resistor away yet!!! Yes, I agree that Acrobat Reader is useful for stuff like that, BUT ... Check the 3rd step on page 15 of your Rev F manual - you will see that R22 82k is placed into the holes marked 'D3'. 73, Don W3FPR ----- Original Message ----- > No r22 on Control board. there is an rp2 that's 82K. > > Viva Acrobat! > > Download the PDF and use searches!
