For AFSK, all you need are two standard 1/8" phone plug audio cables running from the K3 LINE IN and OUT jacks to the PC sound card LINE OUT and IN jacks respectively. Audio isolation transformers are built-in the K3 for both lines. This assumes your RTTY encoder/decoder is in software on the PC, e.g., MMTTY, etc. If you use a hardware TNC like a Hal DXP38, then of course you need to run cables to it.
