Kieth, The KX1 sidetone is generated by an MCU output and is sent through an RC filter to smooth it, so the result is more sine wave-like than a square wave (but it is not perfect). The K1 uses a DAC output for the sidetone, so it should be more like a real sinewave. 73, Don W3FPR [EMAIL PR
