Hi Ron, No this is a safety lanyard... i hand hold the KX1. i agree it would not be a good idea to use the BNC connector for a support line. --- I understand. But which is worse, a dent in the case, perhaps, from bouncing off of a rock or the likelihood of a broken PC boar
