Hm... I still think having it at the bottom along with the copyright is
ideal. Put the legalese away from front-and-center, you know?
But, it's really up to you guys. :) As long as we're consistent, I'm not
terribly concerned.

Sorry Cass, I thought it was better at the bottom too. But it sounds like
already having it at the bottom people think its not there lol

A common short version of the LGPL is this:
This library is free software; you can redistribute it and/or
modify it under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public

What about putting the copyright at the bottom right above the license
then? Or do we want to have it up top? :P

Looks good to me. Is this something we can bake in to the About Dialog maybe?

Yea I'd agree with you Cassidy that we probably care more about the people
and we can put the license at the bottom.
Mario, just some :backdrop related bugs. I fixed them :P

I kind of agree that throwing "ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY" on there looks bad.
:P Are we required to use that exact text under the GPL? Everything I've
read has said that you basically just have to say that it's published under
the GPL and provide the license or a link to the license.
If that's the ca
Hey Mario,
I think probably the Scratch way is better, imo.
But also looks like you spotted two eGTK bugs haha.

IMHO neither. Mentioning the GPL is a good idea, but Scratch exposes the
"negative" side of it. I'd rather use something like "You are free to
redistribute this application under the terms of GNU General Public Licence
version 3 (link) or higher"... Uh, I mean, ask Cassidy for some honeyed words
I think there should be a button to display the copyright. There's no need
to display it every time.

Hi,
I think we should define how we want to show the Copyright in our About
dialogs.
What I exactly mean is that:
http://imagebin.org/205216
Should we use a simple About dialog (as in BeatBox) without a license or as
in Scratch?
