Now, I tried deleting and compiling again, and it worked.
I don't know why.

Please delete the elm-stuff folder and reinstall elm-mdl.
This is a known issue and has been fixed already.

By the migration to 8.0.0., I encountered following problems on my machine:
1. without installing elm-parts, it does not compile
2. I get the following error:
