I upgraded to 2.6.32-279.1.1 and my wireless quit working. Here's the gist
of the problem:
(1) I'm using a USB wifi adapter identified via lsusb as "Atheros
Communications, Inc. AR9271 802.11n"
(2) I have compat-wireless and the relevant firmware installed via elrepo.
(kmod-compat-wireless-3.3-2.n

So I un-installed everything. Also removed all the b43 stuff that came
with the system:
YUM erase:
kmod-compat-wireless
b43-firmware.noarch
b43-tools.x86_64
b43
