where the kernel bug prevents the analog sound module from being
compiled. If you could write a howto for how to do these things the
right way, you'd really help out someone like myself who knows nothing
about it. Thanks for all your hard work!

The 900H has a different set of chips in it from the 900 and so isn't
supported by the em28xx driver.

I applied your patch by hand and it works as stated. Both tuners get an
adapter in /dev/dvb assigned to them now when booting the machine with
both already connected.
