[Orgmode] org-mode opening org files

Would it be possibly for org-mode to open the org-files using a different open mechanism which does not contribute to file history? I use "previous-history-element" a lot in the mini buffer to reopen files but the history includes my 8 or 9 org files which org has opened. ___
