It should be possible to run emacs on Maemo/the n900. It's a
mostly-normal normal Debian-derived GNU/Linux system. Emacs was ported
to older versions of Maemo, and while it hasn't been ported yet, most
likely it should be soon.
I've been a bit busy with holiday related stuff, but its on my todo

Hello list,
I just moved to a MacBook, couldn't be happier and mainly because the last
version of emacs compiles flawlessly and works like a charm. It's even as

and more details on the tuning and tweaks

This question comes after reading

Will it be possible to install Org-mode on the N900 (only Emacs available is

Is there a way to get the tags and other data associated with an event before
it gets sent to the display function through appt-disp-window-function? I want

This is complicated. Essentially, I always have two frames open (two
monitors). The laptop built-in screen shows a fairly large font, and
that's the default for starting Emacs, which I set something like this:

Indeed, the :noweb header argument solves my problem.
Thanks for the hint.
For my understanding, does it mean that the :noweb
Hi everyone,
the current state of affairs in beamer support is now in
the master branch of the git repo.
My little draft documentation is now at

But it is really limited and I am hoping very much that someone
will turn this into something
