hi all
I really enjoy by "use last location to store remember note" feature
introduced recently (thanks, Carsten!). just want to propose one more
(similar) thing: quite usually I'd like to store the note not exactly
to the same subtree as last one, but somewhere nearby, like this:

is there any mechanism to untag subtree?

this is good idea as well, I vote for this also

not really... there are variables org-remember-default-headline and
org-default-notes-file but you need manually change them, it would be

hi all
It is often necessary to insert several similar TODO under one header, like:

usually I look for the paper in internet and use remember to insert
such TODOs, and temporarily modify remember template in order not to

hi Carsten
I found a bug related to inserting links to the target written in
native language. if I have a header with target like this (in
Russian):
* TODO <<сделать что-то>>
then I want to make a link to this target:
1. C-c l on header (here ok)
2. go to place where to want to make link and C-c

hi all
can anybody explain how %:name keyword is working in remember template?
using this keyword in the template is not expanded, but produce only %:name
string. let's say I have:
(setq org-remember-templates

is that incorrect usage or bug?

yes, but then you'll see link like "file:~/dir/file" instead just
"~/dir/file" second option looks nicer and more consistent with C-c C-l

hi all
when you insert a link to a file with C-u C-c C-l you have to enter
Description manually. is that possible to substitute empty Description
string with the path just entered? it works in this way if you insert
previously saved link with C-c C-l

hi again :-)
how to set auto-fill-mode with fill-column or fill-paragraph-function

when the state for a task is changed (let's say TODO-DONE) and allow
to make notes (really useful!). this note can be quite long and it

hi all!
1. is that possible to do a timeline agenda view for selected or all

this might help to plan your timetable more naturally.

hi all
I found, if put word between colons in the body, it will be prompted
for tag completion, when you hit C-c C-c on header. lets say, you have:
** TODO test
hm :bla: hm
then "bla" will appear in tag completion list. but it is not fully functional
tag: you cannot find this body in agenda
is not changed. basically, if you just run emacs without
any tag editing/aligning/whatever, you'll see empty completion list.
I'm using emacs-22.1 and org-mode-4.79

it would be good if sparse tree created by C-u C-c C-v take not a numerical
argument, but string from org-todo-keywords with auto completion. So you do
not need to keep in mind org-todo-keywords variable

I use a lot of explicit targets with angle braces <>, but usually
I do not put them into comments leaving them inline. these braces stress the
attention on the target when read the sentence, it is not always desired. maybe
it is possible to hide them similarly to "Clean view" but without spaces?
I'm wondering if it is possible to see the all links from the target?
for example, I have project B depending on project A like this:
#+SEQ_TODO: TODO NEXT WAITING DONE
* TODO project A

* WAITING project B
project is waiting completion of [[project A]]

I like tags very much, everything should be tagged, not hierarchical!
:-) but in org-mode these to approaches are well balanced and I
suppose to use tags extensively. in the following there is a
description how I suppose to use tags together with questions and
features I did not find. any comments
