The contrib directory has htmlize.el in it. Is it the
latest,canonical one or I'd need to look somewhere else? I'm a bit
fond of that as it enables me to share code without worrying about
fontification that I'm used to.

Running make in cygwin to compile with the native Emacs-23 gets me
this error.
In toplevel form:
lisp/org-ascii.el:29:1:Error: Symbol's function definition is void:

And oddly I can't find the word float in the above file. So, don't

For every release of org mode, I simply run make and rename the latest
org- directory as org. I don't do make install but simply
point .Emacs to the place of the org directory.

Is anyone getting their downloads corrupted while downloading from Org
homepage? For the last few days, the download of the zip/gzip files
gets interrupted, then resumes. When it completes there is at least
one file which is broken in it when tested using gzip -t or unzip -t.
