Position : Network Specialist DURATION : 6 MONTHS LOCATION : AUSTIN ===================== 1. Provides 3rd level technical support on data network related issues. 2. Assists engineers with installation of new hardware and software integration into the network including testing and implementation when multiple vendor¡¦s platforms are used. 3. Provides or coordinates with outside vendors (as necessary) the installation of Network Devices In the network. 4. Improve Service Level Agreements. 5. Maintains and monitor network utilization and make necessary changes whenever required. 6. Plan and Audit network changes Skills: Certifications: CCNP/ CCIE, JNCIA/JNCIS, CVOICE, ITIL Foundation Key skills required: „X Experience in Cisco Routers, switches and Access points „X Network security tools like Cisco ACS , ACE server „X Strong Network management skills „X Performance monitoring using the Vantage suite /Lucent Vital Suite, QoS management. „X Ability to configure and use MRTG/ What¡¦s up gold „X Experience in using the performance troubleshooting tools like Ethereal, sniffer.
