Primary products should include Checkpoint, SPLAT, Cisco IPS, Cisco GSS / CSS, Cisco CSA, Citrix Netscaler, Citrix Password Manager, BlueCoat, Tumbleweed SecureFTP, Teros, and Verisign. * Must have working knowledge of *Internet Protocols/Services such as DNS, SMTP, TCP/IP, HTML, FTP, SSH, IPSec VPN's, HTTP, SSL, and Certificate authorities. * Must know when to ask for assistance, and when to give assistance. Must be approachable, teachable, a team player with a strong desire to continue learning and expanding their experience in a highly evolving security focused environment. Experience with design, planning and trouble-shooting network related problems in an enterprise environment with expertise in *Cisco Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, and Intrusion Detection*. Must have experience with *Cisco 7200, 3600 and 2600 series routers, and 6500 series switches. * Strong *working knowledge of network/internet Protocols/Services such as VoIP, SONET, GigE, 10/100 Ethernet, OSPF, BGP, DNS, TCP/IP, IPSec and NAT. * Must be willing to work nights and weekends if required in response to minimized business interruption during planned or unplanned security system modifications. Possesses analytical and troubleshooting skills and documented experience. Must have proven experience in business and technical development of internal policies and procedures with accountability achieved through technical products. (i*.e. HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, etc compliancy) * *Education/Relevant Experience:* Undergraduate degree in computer science or related field or requisite job experience. *5+ years* of experience in a security or network management, design and or project management role with a focus on 4-tier security architecture including firewalls, intrusion detection, filtering and anti-virus layers. *Checkpoint Certified Security Engineer a plus.
