Sr.Oracle DBA ====================== · Should be able to work along with onsite/offshore team. · He should be able to handle issues independently & avoid escalations. · Willing to work in shifts and handle production support Including weekends. · Should have worked on production support environment, 24/7 projects · Should be able to communicate with the client Knowledge of MS sql server is desirable Certifications: · Oracle 10g certification preferred Client Environment: · Oracle dbs on solaris/linux environment. Key skills required: (in the order of priority) · Strong hands on experience in oracle dba on unix (solaris & Linux). · Strong hands on experience in shell scripting. · Good experience in 10g RAC/RMAN/DATAGUARD/EM10G · Good experience in troubleshooting Good experience in PL/SQL , writing procedures, functions · Good experience in performance tuning · Good experience in performing upgrades/migrations/patches · Should know how to setup standby dbs, do switchover/failover · Should know how to do database refreshes ================= DURATION : 6 MONTHS LOCATION : BOSTON, MA Please respond with Resume, Rate and Phone numbers of the Consultant.
