Using Embperl 2.2.0 and apache 2.2.3 (I didnt use the built in apache)
perl Makefile.PL - all good
make - all good

I had and continue to have errors actually getting it to work - there
are some fixes to get past compile stage but make test always
fails... wolfgang (also on this list) did manage to get this to work
but there must be something different between his and my system - I
have Macbook

is anybody using Embperl 2 (with Apache 2 & mod_perl 2 and perhaps
Imagemagick & postgresql ) on recent Mac OS X? I'm thinking about new
MacBook Pro but I'm not everything will work fine without a lot of black
magic... Comments?

Some people have ask about EMbperl 2 on mac os x. Two days ago I had the
chance to install it there. There are two points which somebody who likes to
try it needs to know:
make test will fail with unresolved symbols as soon as EMbperl is build with
