I am trying to install HTML-Embperl-1.3.3 on an apache server running on an AIX 4.3.3 (UNIX), and I am getting the following question during install: ------------------ The scenery: ------------------ root@xxxxxxx:/usr/local/src/perlmoduler/HTML-Embperl-1.3.3> perl ./Makefile.PL Build with support for Apache mod_perl?(y/n) [y]y Searching for Apache sources... Look at /usr/local/src/apache_1.3.19/ Look at /usr/local/src/apache_1.3.19//src Use /usr/local/src/apache_1.3.19//src as Apache source(y/n) [y]y Will use /usr/local/src/apache_1.3.19/src for Apache Headers Apache Version Server version: Apache/1.3.19 (Unix) Library for mod_perl.c not found, please enter path to libperl.so or mod_perl.so: I can find the mod_perl.c at the following locations /usr/local/src/apache_1.3.19/src/modules/perl/mod_perl.c /usr/local/src/mod_perl-1.25/src/modules/perl/mod_perl.c The problem is that I can't find mod_perl.so or libperl.so on the system. I am using perl ver. 5.005_03, apache ver 1.3.19, mod_perl ver. 1.25 and openssl-0.9.6a My question is: Can i use /usr/local/src/mod_perl-1.25/apaci/libperl.module or /usr/local/src/apache_1.3.19/src/modules/perl/mod_perl.o instead somehow ? PS: If you are tired of getting mails from people asking You for help, please inform "us" in the README of your package, and I apologize for sending this note Best regards, Keld Norman IBM Danmark A/S Global Services Nordic Certified RS/6000 UNIX Support/Admin IT-Expert, Geomar SSO Mid Range & Operations Sortemosevej 21, DK-3450 Alleroed - Denmark, Office B1/W2, E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Phone: (+45) 45 239468 / Mobile: (+45) 24417515 / Fax: (+45) 45 236802 Drmme er det eneste man kommer sovende til. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
