I'm using Embperl 2.0rc1 on Fedora Core 2. My site delivers everything
in UTF-8 Unicode, which works fine in general.
But if Embperl fills a from %fdat, the special characters -
sequences of more than 1 byte - are interpreted and quoted as they
were Latin1, so my text is mangled.
