I looked at the 'old' patch for linux with preempt RT , and it actually aplied quite cleanly to emc2-2.4.3.
However I was not to happy with the naming. bash-3.2$ ls rtapi/ README mathstubs.c rtapi_common.h rtl_rtapi.c Submakefile procfs_macros.h rtapi_ctype.h rtl_ulapi.c examples rtai_rtapi.c rtapi_errno.h sim_common.h linux_common.h rtai_ulapi.c rtapi_math.h sim_rtapi.c linux_rtapi.c rtapi.h rtapi_math_i386.h sim_rtapi_app.cc linux_rtapi_app.cc rtapi_app.h rtapi_proc.h sim_ulapi.c linux_ulapi.c rtapi_bitops.h rtapi_string.h vsnprintf.h bash-3.2$ Where Submakefile linux_rtapi.c linux_rtapi_app.cc linux_ulapi.c linux_common.h are the files from the patch ... Wouldn't something like: rtpre_rtapi.c and so on be more consistent ? Any suggestrions..... / Lars Segerlund. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Start uncovering the many advantages of virtual appliances and start using them to simplify application deployment and accelerate your shift to cloud computing. http://p.sf.net/sfu/novell-sfdev2dev _______________________________________________ Emc-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-developers
