Greetings all; I am in the process of trying to make my camera work on the mill, again. I have a whole new camera sw kit installed, but I am still having some problems with it as its not at all integrated with the machine controls for calibration.
That framework comes from a different, much older package, emcfiles.zip and I can eventually sort that basket of rattlesnakes, its just gcode or hal code to get it hooked up and properly toggling the machines position and recording the various "markings". However, the screen real estate to track all that is being wasted like the land was still 50 cents an acre by gladevcp. The major cause of the waste and my frustration is the spacing around the buttons text, it seems to demand empty space the height of the font both above and below the text, so a button with text is 67% wasted vertical space, way taller than the font selected, and equally wastefull blank space on both ends of the text. Some of this could be compacted, a lot, if I could add a <halpin>"inputname"</halpin to a button that could change the buttons color so I could use it as a condition tally, but glade spits all that stuff right back in my face. It also ignores a <pady>-4</pady> to try and shrink the button so the text fills it better. No error for that, its just ignored. Do I have to round up all the srcs for gladevcp, or even glade itself to fix this? Thanks everybody.
