Mr Jenson - I agree with Bill's input. When I do in house validation I will usually go to 10kV (or K) - 12kV for a test level. The standard we use is EN 60601-1-2 (medical electrical equipment) which states 3kV contact discharge and 8kV air discharge. These values are way too conservative for our
