I would think the main concerns would be visibility, and accessibility.
Possibly you could use something similar to a machinery Emergency stop
pendant station, except post mounted.

1 m either side of the centreline of the workstation

I have not read ISO 13850, but it is a key requirement in my mind that ESTOPs
are readily accessible to the operator.
