One more comment on this topic and I'm done. When coating metal parts the
sharp edges and corners can be chamfered or radiused in order to make it
easier to build up the coating thickness as required.

All that said, I have achieved approvals from third party agencies when we
did multiple coatings. The problem with multiple coatings is that when you
apply it electrostatically, then the insulation value of the first coat
makes it difficult to apply a second or third coat.
