I am extremely thankful to all of you who responded to my query. I had
estimated 1 Gauss to be equal to 79.6 A/m in free space, but was not sure as
it appeared too low a value to me.

I'm not sure what the implications of your 'RMS' are, but if BOTH are
RMS values, we can proceed.
