EN 60065 mainly applies to audio-visual equipment such as VCRs, amplifiers, electronic instruments, radio receivers, etc. It does not apply to data processing or ITE equipment. If you are uncertain as to whether your equipment is covered by the standard, take a look at the scope of the standard
