Senior Product Safety Engineer will be responsible for providing product Safety Engineering Guidance to product development teams throughout the Gateway Group and the managing of product safety certification projects with external certification houses. Candidates should have a sound understanding of the fundamentals of products safety in the field of IT, be capable of recommending policy and be self motivated. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field and ideally 5 years of related experience within the IT industry is desired. 3 years plus of experience in the product safety/compliance field with a knowledge of UL, NRTL, and CE procedures is also required. Excellent interpersonal skills will be required in order to communicate effectively with the Regulatory Group as well as internal and external customers.
