group.

NASA has developed a powder fire extinguishing agent consisting of
microencapsulated water. It is dry and halogen free, releasing water for
cooling and oxygen displacement only in a fire. NASA is interested in
product development opportunities and describes it in

I could envision this as very useful for placement in products or around
ignition sources for fire control.
