is with equipment in category 9 of the Annex.

Mass spectrometers, no matter what mass filter they use, are laboratory
equipment. DNA sequencers are laboratory equipment as well, including
anything used in a research laboratory that makes a measurement. From my
reading of the WEEE and RoHS Directives you need to comply with the
