[PSES] MID (Measuring Instruments Directive) Notified Body?

I have come across some information on the web specifically to do with electricity and gas meters that infers that a new directive called the Measuring Instruments Directive is about to come into force. I have searched the Europa website for information on this but can not find any. Does
