Tom: These are spoofed addresses. They do not originate from the group, nor from the individuals indicated. I traced down a couple of them, and they were coming from a high school in Japan. And they were likely a victim too. Tracing a spammer has become almost impossible. If you would like to have a look at the full headers, and if you are using MS Outlook, then select VIEW & OPTIONS, and you will see the successive handoffs of the email. It usually starts off with a poorly protected email system that is tricked into relaying the spam. My guess is that someone posted a thread outside our list, and the viewable addresses were harvested by a "bot." Or, some listmember's computer was penetrated, and their email address book exported. Whatever really happened, these addresses are now being used to crudely cover the origin of this latest round of garbage. Any knowledgeable IT person would quickly see that the list is not the origin of this trash, so I don't think you would be blamed for being a subscriber. Unfortunately for now, all we can do is NEVER open attachments, and keep the DELETE key nicely polished.
