standard that was directed toward just this subject. There are many articles
written and published in magazines, technical books, etc. dealing with

There are IPC standards here is one example, I am sure there are more;
IPC-3710 - Acceptability of Wiring/Cable Harnesses, Electronic Cable
Assemblies, Cord Sets, and Wires
I am pretty sure these documents will not accommodate EMI design. That
