Interesting that the "computer fire" data points are mentioned at all.
I have a copy of the AUG2005 NFPA Home Candle Fires report and no
mentions of computers exist in it, save for a mention of a computerized
database.  In the Home Candle Fire report, it only states that 7% of
candle fires are associated with "appliance housing or casing fires,"
and in 3% of all candle fires the "appliance housing or casing" was the
first item ignited.

In the NFPA Computer and Computer Peripheral Fires with a Discussion of
Batteries report, Jim brought to our attention, "Candles provided the
heat <source> in 4% of the fires."

Yes, numbers to ponder on.
