Hello Ladies and Gents,

The economy must be as good as the Republicans are telling us as I am still
looking for a Safety Engineer!!!

I am looking for someone who knows the intimate details of IEC60065 or related
standards, i.e. IEC60950 etc…If you know IEC60950 well then IEC60065 is
fairly easy to pick up. All candidates must have experience in working in a
team environment and be able to advise development teams in how to design
products which comply with the applicable safety standards. My group does have
a technician to perform testing but this is a hands on position so you must be
familiar with and able to conduct testing per the applicable standards if
necessary.

Again this is a fulltime permanent position and is the result of department
growth and not due someone leaving. I have been at Bose since 2000 and my
group has grown from 3 to 5 engineers/ technicians in that time….I only
mention this as job security has been a concern of the applicants I have
talked to so far.

You can view the position at the following website

IEW_STATIC_PAGE_EVENT&url=/about/careers/index.jsp&ck=0>
http://www.bose.com/controller?event=VI
W_STATIC_PAGE_EVENT&url=/about/careers/index.jsp&ck=0

To view the position click on "View Jobs and Apply"….then click on " Search
Openings", input Requisition ID# 7398 click on search and the job description
will pop up.

Interested candidates can send there resumes to me directly but please feel
free to send one through the Bose application system.

Hope to hear from you…

Regards,

John Tyra
