I guess it depends on the type of work you are doing.
I see these types of tranforms being handled in the relm of the cad/cam
application.
But for drill circles or other canned cycles I can see the utility.
Perhaps I could have saved you some time over the weekend. I have already

Ubuntu is distributed over the Internet as CD image files, called ISOs.
To install Ubuntu, you first need to burn its ISO file onto a CD. You
need a working CD/DVD burner and an 80 minute (700 Mb) CD for this. This

- iso image as is, or the unzipped files ?
The MD5 of the downloaded iso file is as posted on the website.
Windows treats that file as a WinRAR archive.
Whatever parameters I use to burn it, it just w

I have my X and Z axis working and my spindle drive is on the way. I
need to connect the spindle encoder so I can cut threads. I don't know
if I need to connected to the Mesa encoder inputs, general purpose
inputs, parallel port or what. On the Pluto-lathe configuration, it's

The wiki page wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?NetMos shows how to
use lspci to find the address or addresses used by any particular PCI
card. This should apply to your card as well.
