The emc official packages, and the EMC2 CD are Ubuntu 6.06. These
packages cannot be installed on Ubuntu 7.04.
If you want "easy" you will want to reinstall from the CD, either
replacing 7.04 or as a dual-boot setup.

I have the Ubuntu version 7.04 on a CD, and I have the EMC2 Basic on CD.
Should I load the EMC2 Basic CD and the update to Ubuntu 7.04 or load Ubuntu
7.04 and then load only EMC2 from the EMC2 Basic CD?
Are there any problems with using EMC2 with Ubuntu 7.04?
