Dave, please be aware that the first circuit at:
http://www.rmcybernetics.com/projects/DIY_Devices/homemade_ignition_coil_driver.htm
is seriously oversimplified.
If a 2N3055 is used, as shown, the 100v collector breakdo
That's simple! :-)
Thanks,

Igor,
if your system was tuned well enough to fight you when you tried to
move the screws by hand, it's strong enough to overcome oil stiction.
i'd think cold weather = bad connections, like an analog command to an
amplifier going thru a bad contact... but i dont know if you have a
digital command
Is there a way to record a series of entirely manual (not MDI) moves for
playback as a program?

It's just a common light dimmer.

Kirk,
Did you build the ignitor control box (white plastic) or did you buy that.
I could use one of those.

Input only, but this is due to my melting the filters on my HNC.

I have used similar filters on VFD's to solve encoder problems. I built
this ignitor recently:

and the shop stereo would stop worki
I'm not sure what level you're thinking about when you ask this
question.
If you're thinking in high-level terms like how to connect existing
components, you can use pid to control a velocity simply by making its
command and feedback be velocities instead of positions.
If you're thinking in low

Hi all-
I've been working on getting the live tool system working on my lathe
and am curious if it is at all possible (for me) to add interpretation
of M53/M54/M55 to EMCTask, to activate "new" pins
{motion.livespindle-forward, motion.livespindle-reverse,
motion.livespindle.on} - which are equival

I think because the MCU is used to validate EMC2 before powering up the
dangerous bits
