Thanks for the suggestions. The facility the machine is located is requiring

Are these the round, threaded connectors? They are known as Mi
Ebay??
The local Fanuc service guy recommends that customers buy cables through
a 3rd party supplier.
He recommended googling "Fanuc Cables" and make some phone calls.
Apparently their cables are a fraction of the price of Fanuc supplied
cables.
I'd call them and see if you can buy partial ca

Are you working on a LPT breakout for the BeagleBone?!?
If so, that's great! I just started looking into designing

Please note that I don't come from a machining background, but from a
laboratory. Wrapping could be a good idea. We had a shipment travel
cross-country that was covered and tarped. Looked like it went through the
Mississippi River instead of over it...not fun to see on a device worth
$700,00

It might be with the operating range of a big Hiab crane, which can
make loading and unloading much easier.

19,000 lbs is not a very heavy machine for most riggers. 30-40,000 lbs
gets more interesting. :-)
You should be able to find a rigger local to the machine to load it, a
trucker to move it, and a rigger at the other end to unload and
install/position it.
Chances are they will all be different

Charles, greetings
What is the full name/path of the script(s) for setting up the environment
that you run on starting terminal windows on the BBB? The GUI I am trying to
run has some additional/conflicting path info. and I need to integrate them.

Hey Aaron,
I don´t know cheap breakout board - special for UK - but the Triple BEAST
is a very good and easy to use cnc-control system from
Benezan-electronics. Perphaps you can find a vendor in UK for Triple
BEAST.
For further information, have a look at::

I just ordered one like this off ebay USA for under $15 including shipping.

I can suggest one, but only if you are willing to wait a couple of
weeks/maybe 1-2 months tops.
I'm working on one right now.
So far it'll have:
- a parport connector (both DB25 and header style) - pin compatible with
sherline configs
- additional connectors for: limit switches (2 switches x 4 j
