i used the ubuntu gui tool 'Archive Manager'
and took the files out one at a time and put them where I wanted them
worked great

Comments will be appreciated once you have tried it out. The remaining
problem I have is the homing and setup to start a job. I am still working on
a solution.
What is wrong with homing?
